Situated to the east of the Wakhan corridor this is an un spoilt area which offer one of the classic treks from Chitral to Hunza. Going past Tirich Mir 7708m and central Hindukush mountains, you start the trek with lush valleys, move to rugged landscape, glacier crossing before you take on the two high passes Darkot pass 4757m and the unknown Atar pass 4590m. On route you get to meet the friendly Khowar & Wakhi tribes on their high pastures, with the best of mountain scenery the Thui peaks, skirting below the Koyo Zom with views from the Atar pass deep into the Karakorum mountains this is a popular trek with our clients. The trek build up wonderful from the Yarkhun valley to acclimatize you before you reach higher altitude and descend into Ishkuman valley to Hunza.
