Permits & Regulations

To receive a permit to climb and scale mountains, the Gilgit-Baltistan Council issues permits in Islamabad, Pakistan, valid throughout the season. Some credentials are required to receive permits, but Hunza Adventure Tours is responsible for providing all logistics needed for expeditions.

• Liaison Officers: Not required for expeditions to peaks of 6,000 meters.

• Royalty & Fees: Rates depend on the height and elevation of the peak.
