Jeep drive through the narrow Astore gorge is unique, enroute enjoy great views of the beautiful southern panorama of Nanga Parbat. A two day trek from the roadhead village of Tarshing takes us to the beautiful camp of Shaigiri, where a climb of Shaigiri (5690m) provides magnificent views down the entire Rupal Valley.

We walk through the scenic Rupal Valley, and meeting people in the summer settlements, with fresh water, fire wood and superb views of the Rupal Face of Nanga Parbat.

Itinerary:

01	Islamabad Arrive Islamabad. Transfer to hotel.	Hotel
02	Chilas Drive by coach to Chilas (480km) 12-14 hrs on Karakoram Highway.	Hotel
03	Tarashing We drive by jeeps and we turn off the Karakoram Highway entering the narrow Astor gorge reaching Tarashing (7-8 hrs). We will have the first view of the eastern precipice of Nanga Parbat.	Camp
04	Bazhin camp (3650m) We will trek through Rupal valley, walking 6-7 hrs along the terraced fields of various grain crops and enjoying ever changing views of Nanga Parbat.	Camp
05	Shaigiri camp (3660) We cross the morains of the Bazhin Glacier and trek through green pastures of juniper and birch to Latboh. Above us is the clossal Rupal Face 4500m tall stretching almost the full length of the mountain with its 8 Km long Mazeno ridge extending before us.We trek through forest of willow and birch to our camp at Shaigiri. 06-08	Shaigiri Peak climb / Descend to BC 03 days free to explore and climb Shaigiri Peak (5690m) and descend back to the camp.	Camp
09	Trek back to Rupal Village.	Camp
10	Trek to Tarshing Village and drive jeep to Gilgit.	Camp
11	Drive to Hunza. Afternoon free for leisure.	Hotel
12	Full day hike to Ultar Valley and back to Karimabad.	Hotel
13	Half day sightseeing around Hunza Lake and drive to Gilgit.	Hotel
14	Drive to Besham / Naran.	Hotel
15	Continue drive to Islamabad.	Hotel
16	Transfer to airport for your homebound flight.	- - -
